Oasis (Drawing Paper) by Chiara Lammens is an editorial selection of drawings from travel journals, personal notebooks, and project sketchbooks (2013-2024). Chiara Lammens (BE) draws and paints meticulous scenes in which she depicts worlds resembling our own. With their dubious colors, her landscapes look like hallucinations, fata morganas on speed, or simply visions of tropical places where it may or may not be pleasant to stay.

 

Carnets de Brouillon (Drawing Paper) by Emmanuel Depoorter is a box of replicas of non-existent sketchbooks. The illusion that these are originals is achieved through the use of various printing techniques. Emmanuel Depoorter (BE) mainly uses drawing to give form to his ideas but also experiments with sculptural and cinematic media.

 

Did you Notice Me before I Disappeared? (SO-RI) by Rio Staelens is based on the series Chance Meeting (with Ray), which explores exposure processes and colour mixing on different light-sensitive media. They also investigate the illusion of depth on the flat surface of a photograph. Rio Staelens (BE) is a photographer who explores perception in urban space and rural and studio environments.
